MARGARITA ISLAND, Badr Abdullah Saeed Al Matroushi, UAE Ambassador to Cuba and Representative to the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), today met with June Soomer, ACS Secretary General, to discuss ways of accelerating joint cooperation.
Soomer affirmed the association’s willingness to advance relations with the UAE across different domains, primarily in areas of sustainability.
The UAE ambassador underlined the UAE keenness to bolster cooperation with the Caribbean states for the common good of all parties.
The meeting convened on the sidelines of the 2nd Co-operation Meeting of the ACS, now ongoing in Margarita Island, Venezuela.
