RAS AL KHAIMAH, The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, SZHP, and the Environment and Development Authority of Ras al-Khaimah,EPDA-RAK, have signed a joint cooperation agreement to apply the best international standards for the conservation and protection of the environment in the country Under the agreement, the two parties will provide and plant trees at homes as part of the nation-wide one million and one trees initiative and educate citizens on best, safest methods to clean and maintain water tanks in their homes.
They will also distribute ecological fingerprint calculators across the country to enable homeowners measure the impact of their daily life and practices on the environment.
