Sharjah Police Chief meets graduates of Sharjah Police Academy

SHARJAH, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police, has said that the police forces have a great responsibility of maintaining security and stability, as well as the comprehensive development process witnessed by the UAE in various areas.

This came during a meeting between Major. General Al Shamsi on Sunday with the cadets of the 19th batch of the Sharjah Police Science Academy, SPSA, who recently joined the fields of work in different police departments and centres.

Addressing the graduates, Al Shamsi pointed out that the work environment at Sharjah Police is ideal and stimulating for giving and creativity, thanks to the support and guidance of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

He said, “Today, after graduating from this pioneering and prestigious academic institution, you have become face to face with a great challenge and a great responsibility to preserve and reassure the lives and property of the members of the community. This challenge requires you to redouble your efforts and full vigilance, and to try to reflect a positive and constructive image. You are required to acquire the skills and experience enjoyed by your superiors and colleagues in the work, and you have to complete what they have initiated through a long process rich in giving and achievement.”

“The challenges awaiting you are enormous and so are the responsibilities, but the training you have received in the police establishments will enable you to carry out your responsibilities and duties effectively and efficiently,” Al Shamsi added.
