It is wonderful to see that Kuwait is aware of the importance and benefits of the Internet and the global network that supports it. I am very happy to receive this prize, and I look forward to interacting with Kuwaiti scholars, non-profit organizations, the government and the private sector who have shown creative interest in the continuous development of the Internet and its various applications. I look forward to their contributions in the coming years,” he added.
His Highness the Amir’s representative and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah handed the awards to the winners, and was given a commemorative gift on this occasion.
