BAKU, Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, met today President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, on the margins of the Non- Aligned Movement Mid-Term Ministerial Conference,” which was held in the Azerbaijan capital, Baku, over two days.
Conference NAM’s Foreign Ministers was held under the theme of “Promoting international peace and security for sustainable development”.
President Aliyev admired the UAE’s vision and its development model, which he said has served a positive message in the region. He also highlighted his country’s growing ties with the UAE.
The two parties discussed ways of enhancing friendship and cooperation, particularly in economic and investment areas, in a way that reflects the distinguished friendly bilateral ties.
The latest regional and global developments and the issues of mutual interest were also tackled during the meeting.
