Dubai Police sign MoUs with EFQM, Riverbed

DUBAI, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Leon Tossaint, CEO of European Foundation for Quality Management, EFQM, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to boost joint co-operation and co-ordination in areas of excellence and leadership in order to deliver their strategic objectives.

The MoU also provides for sharing expertise and best practices.

The Dubai Police General HQ have been a member of the EFQM for ten years.

The EFQM is a non-profit membership foundation, which brings together organisations striving for sustainable excellence. Through its network of members, comprising private and public organisations of every size and sector, many of whom are active around the world, the EFQM applies its know-how and extracts outstanding approaches by engaging with executives and front-line managers.

Recently, Major General Al Marri and Jerry M. Kennelly, Chairman and CEO of Riverbed, inked an MoU to establish the grounds for future co-operation between Dubai Police and Riverbed, in extending stronger partnership to a broader spectrum in the field of development, upgrading both the applications and infrastructures, and assuring the transfer of knowledge and proper training in accordance with Dubai Police’s strategic drive on artificial intelligence.

Riverbed offers a software-defined architecture for digital business, making applications, websites, networks, data centres, the cloud, and remote offices work better. They bring the promise of digital transformation to life.
