Dubai Government Workshop joins ‘Iftar Saem’ campaign

DUBAI, As part of its celebration on Zayed Humanitarian Day, the Dubai Government Workshop, DGW, joined the “Iftar Saem” campaign, in cooperation with the Beit Al Khair Society.

Exemplifying goodness, solidarity, and brotherhood, Zayed Humanitarian Day falls on the 19th of Ramadan every year and is held to commemorate the country’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who served as a role model for philanthropists worldwide.

Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy Executive Director, DGW, said, “Participating in the ‘Iftar Saem’ campaign, which was launched to promote social equality and humanitarian works during the Holy Month of Ramadan as part of our Zayed Humanitarian Day commemoration, is also our way of remembering the achievements and contributions of our founding founder, who espoused the importance of helping people from all parts of the earth. The initiative also reflects our commitment to move forward in our efforts to adopt the approach of Zayed Al-Khair, who said, ‘We believe that the wealth that God has bestowed on us must be shared with our friends and brothers.'”

“We are pleased to cooperate with Beit Al Khair Society to fulfil our social and humanitarian responsibilities and emphasise the value of charitable work, which acts as a key component of the UAE’s identity. Under the guidance of our wise leaders, the county has succeeded in its efforts to take a leading role in global humanitarian activities. The campaign is especially important as it coincides with the Holy Month of Ramadan. We will further strengthen our partnership with Beit Al Khair and other social and charitable institutions in support of social voluntary and humanitarian initiatives that serve the entire UAE community,” he said in conclusion.
