A meeting held today, Saturday, in Bajil Directorate in Al-Hodeida discussed the participatory coordination plan to support the activation of community initiatives in the agricultural, fisheries, social and services fields, and to mobilize the community to achieve self-sufficiency in cooperation with the relevant associations.
The meeting, which included the Director of the Directorate, Abdul Moneim Al-Rifai, the leadership in Bajil Agricultural Society, and the directors of Zakat, Endowments, Works and Humanitarian Affairs, reviewed the role of the concerned authorities in supporting the implementation of targeted community initiatives during the next stage.
During the meeting, the implementation mechanism of the association’s work program , its supporting bodies and the tasks of the local community were set to start implementing a series of projects and priorities of the development plan in the provision of health services, education, water, roads and humanitarian aid.
The meeting came out with a number of recommendations on rehabilitating the association and linking it to farmers and knights of development, quickly reversing the executive plan for projects to implement initiatives according to a chronic program, identifying aspects of support and the tasks of the concerned offices to participate in creating sustainable development to reduce the import bill.
