DEWA briefs Hong Kong officials on best practices

DUBAI, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has welcomed a high-level delegation from the Urban Planning Department of Hong Kong.

The meeting heightened cooperation between the two organisations, to review world-class practices and expertise at DEWA, including benchmarking and key performance indicators. DEWA is working to deliver the best possible services in electricity and water that are reliable, efficient, and always available, to achieve the happiness of its customers and stakeholders.

Al Tayer welcomed the delegation, explaining the importance of continued cooperation between the two sides in electricity and water. He reviewed DEWA’s programmes, plans, and projects to achieve the UAE’s leadership vision in strengthening the country’s position globally.

The delegation lauded DEWA’s efforts and its distinguished role, and thanked Al Tayer for the opportunity to discuss enhancing cooperation.

The delegation included Chan Wai-shun, Assistant Director of Planning for New Territories, and Chau Yat-cheung, Chief Town Planner for Studies and Research, and other senior officials.
