The Kingdom of Bahrain has welcomed the signing of the short-term ceasefire and humanitarian arrangements agreement between representatives of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in Jeddah.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s appreciation for the Saudi-US efforts to achieve a ceasefire and ensure that urgent humanitarian services are being delivered to those in need under the principles of international humanitarian law and the Jeddah Declaration for the Protection of Civilians. The Ministry hopes that the Jeddah Agreement would constitute an essential step towards a permanent cessation of hostilities and a comprehensive peaceful solution through the participation of all parties in an inclusive national dialogue that meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people for security, peace and stability.
